Cats, the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical that won seven Tony Awards and enjoyed nearly 7,500 performances during its Broadway run, will be performed this weekend by students in North Central’s theatre department. Actors will dance, sing and prowl across the Pfeiffer Hall stage for five performances, Nov. 5-8.
Cats is directed and choreographed by Fine Arts Director Brian Lynch, who performed in the show’s third national tour during the 1980s. Professor of Music Jeordano Martinez gives musical direction. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5; 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Tickets are $15/adults, $10/students and senior citizens.
