Next time you’re in Oesterle Library, take a few moments to visit the second floor art gallery and its current exhibit “The Other Side of the Earth” by Chun Arthur Wang.
His oil and watercolor paintings were inspired by his former rural life and traveling experiences in minority areas in China. He has exhibited work in China, Chile, Japan, Mexico, Spain and the United States, including private and public collections.
Wang is associate professor of fine arts at Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio, where he teaches drawing and watercolor. The North Central exhibit runs through Oct. 14. More
