Artist Timothy Botts will create a live work of art as part of a service in memory of Dr. Lora Tyson on Thursday, Jan. 28, at noon in Koten Chapel. Tyson was an associate professor of education from 1999 to 2008, who treasured the artistry of Botts. A light lunch will follow.
Botts is a Christian artist who creates visual expressions of faith and scripture passages through calligraphy. His work has been published in the best-selling books
Doorposts, Messiah, Proverbs, Psalms and
