This week the Presidential Search Committee will begin to define the desired profile for North Central College’s 10th president by conducting a series of input sessions on campus. The input sessions will provide the campus an opportunity to share thoughts about the challenges and opportunities envisioned for the next president to address and the ideal qualities and qualifications he or she should possess.
The sessions will be facilitated by search consultants Dennis Barden and Elizabeth Bohan from Witt/Kieffer and will be attended by search committee members.
The Thursday, April 12, input sessions are organized by groups: administrative and support staff, alumni, trustees, and students and teaching faculty, who will meet at the same time but in different locations. The schedule is:
Administrative and Support Staff: 10:30 a.m. to noon, Centennial Hall at Harold and Eva White Activities Center
Students: 12:15 to 1:45 p.m., Koten Chapel at Kiekhofer Hall
Teaching Faculty: 12:15 to 1:45 p.m., Heininger Auditorium at Larrance Academic Center
Trustees: 4 to 6 p.m., A.A. Smith House
Alumni: 7 to 8:30 p.m., A.A. Smith House
Anyone not able to attend an input session will have other opportunities to respond with the committee. Use the firstname.lastname@example.org email as well as the College’s Facebook page to provide input.
