The National College Athlete Honor Society (NCAHS) has announced that 38 North Central College student-athletes have qualified for induction this year.
To be considered, student-athletes must maintain a minimum of a 3.4 cumulative GPA following their seventh term in school and received a varsity letter in their particular sport. The NCAHS was designed to recognize, encourage and reward high academic scholarship of college athletes at four-year accredited colleges and universities. North Central’s new members will be inducted on Honors Day Tuesday, May 17, at 5:30 p.m. in the Res/Rec Center.
The 38 inductees rank as the second-highest total North Central has had in a single year. 41 student-athletes were inducted into NCAHS in 2008. For more information and to view the list of qualified student-athletes click here.
