The comedy "Stage Door” tells the stories of ambitious young women who come to New York City during the 1930s to study acting and find jobs. Under the direction of Chicago actor and theatre instructor Ted Hoerl, North Central students bring these depression-era tales to life May 6-9. Presented at 7:30 p.m. May 6, 7 and 8 and at 2 p.m. May 9 in Meiley-Swallow Hall, the 1937 movie of the same name starred Katharine Hepburn in the lead role, along with Ginger Rogers and Lucille Ball, among others.
