Kristine Lipowski is project coordinator at Northwestern University’s Alzheimer’s Disease Center, where she has worked for three years with patients and research subjects who have Alzheimer’s or related dementias or disorders. She helps patients and their families become involved in clinical trials for new interventional and therapeutic drugs or devices to treat the symptoms of Alzheimer’s or dementias. She is enrolled in a master’s program in liberal studies and anticipates graduating in June 2012 and applying for a Ph.D. program in sociology. She may be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
