Doug Pawlik accepted his Actors’ Equity card last spring while a part of the production “I Love Lucy Live on Stage” at the Broadway Playhouse in Water Tower Place in Chicago. He spent May in Cambridge, MA, at the American Repertory Theater with The Hypocrites’ original adaptation of “The Pirates of Penzance.” The show moves on to Actors Theatre of Louisville, KY, in January. He performed at the Arranmore Arts Center in the outdoor concert series titled “Cabernet Cabaret” on the Arranmore Polo Grounds in Oswego, IL. Pawlik is also working on a new musical production titled “Signs of Life” based on the true story of the Czech ghetto Terezin, which was transformed into a so-called model “City for the Jews.” The show runs September 18 through October 27 at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater in Chicago.
