RAIN LOCATION: The Cornerstone Day Celebration Picnic has been moved to Gregory Arena in Merner Field House
North Central College invites all members of the campus and Naperville community to attend the College’s annual Cornerstone Day Celebration Picnic on May 16.
The Cornerstone Picnic will take place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, in Gregory Arena at Merner Field House. The free event features servings of entrees provided by many of Naperville’s fine restaurants with entertainment by North Central students.
This year’s picnic offers guests a chance to sample cuisine provided by Chartwells, the College’s food service provider, and these participating restaurants: Angeli’s Restaurant & Catering, Walker’s Charhouse, Belgio’s Catering, Twisted Olive, Fontano’s Subs (south Naperville), Bella Familia, The Bangkok Village, bd’s Mongolian Grill, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, Häagen-Dazs & Popcorn Palace, The Lantern Tavern & Grill, Colonial Cafe & Ice Cream, Heaven on Seven, Rizzo’s, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Smallcakes Cupcakery.
Cornerstone Day commemorates the College’s 1870 move to Naperville from Plainfield and the laying of the cornerstone for Old Main.
