North Central College hosts two open houses for graduate programs

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Dec. 9, 2010)—North Central College will host two open houses in January for students interested in graduate school at North Central College.

Visitors can learn about the College’s One-Year Professional Management M.B.A. at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11. The open house for the Master of Leadership Studies program will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12.

Both open houses will take place on North Central’s campus in Smith Hall at Old Main, 30 N. Brainard St., Naperville. Visitors will meet faculty, discuss the curriculum, speak with current students and alumni, and learn about the admission process and financial aid. The One-Year Professional Management M.B.A. is an intensive management-focused program designed for young professionals with a strong academic business background who have earned a bachelor’s degree within the past five years.

North Central’s Master of Leadership Studies degree offers four concentrations: higher education leadership, sports leadership, social entrepreneurship and professional leadership. It’s designed to boost leadership and decision-making skills, deepen students’ understanding of ethical management practices and provide options for focused study.

North Central also offers a master of science in Web and Internet applications, a master of science in management information systems, a master of arts in liberal studies, a master of arts in education, as well as 15 graduate certificates for adults who want to gain expertise or expand their credentials for career advancement in a short, focused period of time. North Central offers four unique entry points with terms beginning in January, March, June and September.
