Naomi Smith was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in Classical Civilization Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.
Smith is a graduating senior double-majoring in classical civilization and English writing. While at North Central she had work published in the North Central Review, a campus literary journal, and presented research at the College’s annual Rall Symposium for Undergraduate Research. She was among a group of students who studied abroad in Rome during D-Term in December 2010 and was a member of the College’s International Club. Smith is a graduate of Litchfield High School.
