Mike O’Connor was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in Sociology and Anthropology Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.
O’Connor is a graduating senior double-majoring in psychology and sociology with a focus on criminal justice. After graduation he plans to begin training as a police officer. He is a graduate of Bolingbrook High School.
At North Central, he presented a paper at the 2010 Midwestern Psychological Association Conference. He also presented at the College’s annual Rall Symposium for Undergraduate Research and participated in North Central’s College Scholars Honors Program.
