| Residence Hall/Recreation Center is site for career fair |
North Central College hosts this year’s Illinois Small College Placement Association (ISCPA) CareerFest job and internship fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, in the Residence Hall/Recreation Center. All students and alumni seeking full-time jobs or internships are invited and encouraged to sign up, upload a résumé and attend.
North Central is one of 25 member institutions that sponsor this event, which draws employers who might not normally visit campus. Some 50 employers are registered, with more expected. This event is not open to the public and is exclusively intended for students and alumni of current ISCPA institutions.
Students and alumni who want to attend must register and upload their résumés in advance. To register, visit Career Development in room 235 at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium by Friday, Jan. 25. Cost is $10 cash or $20 cash at the door. To upload your résumé, visit collegecentral.com/iscpa. The screen looks like Birdboard but is a different system. Résumés must be approved before they’re activated and viewable to employers.
Students and alumni will have opportunities to meet representatives at their tables and potentially be interviewed. Registered employers range from CliftonLarsonAllen accounting firm, Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University and Academy of Urban Leadership to Navistar, Illinois Office of the Auditor General, Calamos Investments and many more.
