Christi Thigpen M ’10 received the special “fist bump” from President Hal Wilde that was a distinguishing finale for the Class of 2010. Wilde underwent surgery in May after a hand injury, preventing him from shaking the hands of all 598 degree recipients. Currently a special education teacher at Downers Grove South High School, Thigpen received a master’s in education and hopes to pursue a career in school administration as a dean or student activities director.
