Chicago Chamber Musicians perform Jan. 21 at North Central College

Nov. 15, 2010—Chicago Chamber Musicians will present a powerful performance of classical works Jan. 21 in North Central College’s acoustically stunning Wentz Concert Hall.

Chicago Chamber Musicians will present masterworks of the chamber canon, including Brahms monumental “Quintet in B minor” for clarinet and strings Op. 115, and Franck’s Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 14. Larry Combs, clarinetist and former principle clarinet of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, performs Franck’s virtuosic work with the Chicago Chamber Musicians strings.

Additional performers are Joseph Genualdi and Robert Chen, violin; Rami Solomonow, viola; Clancy Newman, cello; and Meng-Chieh Liu, piano.
