| Grace Muganda |
Grace Muganda was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Student in the Division of Science Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.
Muganda is double-majoring in biochemistry and computer science. She was recently recognized for receiving an honorable mention in the prestigious Barry M. Goldwater National Scholarship program.
As a student at North Central, Muganda completed internships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, presented research at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research, served as president of Focus—a weekly student-led worship experience featuring music, scripture, prayer and reflection—and worked as a lab assistant for upper-level biology courses.
