North Central College will host the exhibit, “The Other Side of the Earth,” by artist Chun Arthur Wang Sept. 5 through Oct. 14 in the College’s Oesterle Library Gallery, 320 E. School St.
Wang is associate professor of fine arts at Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio, where he teaches drawing and watercolor. He has exhibited work in China, Chile, Japan, Mexico, Spain and the the United States. His works are held in private and public collections, including the China National Museum of Fine Arts in Beijing, University of Colorado and the Ohio Statehouse.
He is the recipient of an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Greater Columbus Arts Council. He earned a bachelor of fine arts from Columbus College of Art and Design and a master of fine arts at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. Oesterle Library Gallery is open 8 a.m. to midnight Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to midnight Sundays. Contact Nickole C.
