March 16, 2010—An exhibit at North Central College April 16 though May 7 showcases the collection of William H. Bigham Galleries, a leading exhibitor of multicultural artworks in the Chicago area.
The exhibit features exotic authentic African bronze, stone, and wood sculptures, contemporary original mixed media oil paintings, elegant custom-designed jewelry and bright, colorful home accents and textiles.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. Schoenherr Art Gallery at the College's Fine Arts Center is located at 171 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville.
The exhibit is part of the African American Leadership Roundtable’s two-day African American Heritage Festival April 16-17 in Naperville.
The exhibit will be open 8 a.m. to midnight Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and noon midnight Sundays.
