City fees for parking violations increase Jan. 9

The City of Naperville will increase its fines for all parking violations, including street parking around North Central’s campus, starting Monday, Jan. 9.

At that time, the minimum fine for parking regulation violations will become $50 with a compromise fine of $25 when the citation is paid within 15 days from the date the citation is issued. The previous fine was $30 with a compromise fine of $15.

Parking regulations on most streets around campus have four-hour limits. Violations of this time limit that receive citations will be assessed the increased fee.
