Kathleen Lichay is a criminal intelligence analyst assigned to the Investigations Unit with the Naperville Police Department. Her duties include assisting detectives and patrol officers on a multitude of cases, from narcotics and gangs to child pornography and bank fraud. In 2009, she won first place in the International Association of Crime Analysts annual bulletin contest. Her entry about an online phenomenon called “Second Life” beat other crime analysts across the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.

Pat Shanower is scheduled to talk with local radio host Scott Mackay at about 7:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9. on WERV-FM 95.9 (The River) about the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that claimed the life of her son, Cmdr. Dan Shanower.
Navy Cmdr. Dan Shanower was in his Pentagon office the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, and died in the attack on Washington, D.C. Naperville's 9/11 memorial is named in his honor.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is the nation’s preeminent program for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
