Kelly Ator was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in Sport Management Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.

Ator is a graduating senior majoring in sport management with minors in wellness and coaching. She has been accepted to a graduate program in recreation administration at Illinois State University and will serve as special events and competitive programs graduate assistant.

Lisa Mueller was honored with the 2011 James Henry Breasted 1890 Outstanding Major in History Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.

Mueller is a graduating senior double-majoring in history and Spanish. She plans to pursue graduate studies in library science at Dominican University.

Michelle Jacobs was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in Athletic Training Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.

Jacobs is a graduating senior majoring in athletic training. While a student at North Central, she competed with the women’s track and field team in high jump and middle distance events.

As a student at North Central, Jacobs was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, a national college athlete honor society. She is a graduate of Glenbard North High School. She plans to pursue graduate studies at Old Dominion University.

Kristen Robledo was honored with the 2011 Outstanding Major in Elementary Education Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.

Robledo is a graduating senior majoring in elementary education at North Central College with a focus on teaching under-achieving students in high-need schools. She is a graduate of Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox.
