Trustees approve faculty tenure, promotions

The Board of Trustees of North Central College approved five faculty for tenure and nine faculty for promotion at the Trustee meeting, May 20-21, 2011. Congratulations to the following faculty:

For promotion

Stadium field, track closed during construction

Beginning Monday, May 23, the field and track within Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium will be closed to all College students, employees and the general public during a reconstruction project scheduled to last until Aug. 10.

Cornerstone Week: Saturday, May 21, events

CUAB hosts its annual Springfest for students with live bands, games, prizes, dancing and more, and the band The Ides of March performs for all in Pfeiffer.

Springfest, an annual student celebration, features three musical acts: Headbangers Ball 3-4 p.m., Mike and Joe 5-6 p.m., and two student bands, North of 88 and Saturday's Response 7-8 p.m. Activities include Zumba and flamenco dance classes, food, raffle prizes, games, climbing wall, mechanical bull and more.
