North Central College invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position in Art History for the 2014-15 academic year (September 1 – June 15). A Ph.D. is strongly preferred; however, candidates with an ABD or a master’s degree in Art History and significant teaching experience will be considered. The successful candidate will show evidence of a commitment to teaching excellence and professional growth. Candidates will have the ability to teach beginning art history surveys through advanced topics courses, including Art of the 19th and 20th Centuries, and a Global Art Survey course.
