Come receive an official welcome and receive an overview of the scheduled Orientation events.

1:15 - 1:50 p.m. Academic Adjustment

While you have completed courses at another institution, this session will help ensure you are prepared for the classroom at North Central College.

2 - 5 p.m.

Group Rotations


Familiarize yourself with library facilities and the resources it offers.

Technology Training: Carnegie 200 & 210

Learn how to use your campus email address and other campus systems.

Student IDs & Mailroom: Old Main

You will have the opportunity to obtain your student ID, and resident students will receive their campus mailbox and mail key.

Hear from fellow transfers about their experience transitioning to North Central.

2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Service Fair

Jefferson Commons

Members of the Naperville community will be on hand to share service opportunities within their agencies.  Plus, participate in hands-on service opportunities.

Meet in Jefferson Commons

Grab some friends to compete in a campus-wide scavenger hunt! Come anytime. Winners will be based on completion times.

Join other students for the kick-off of Residence Life’s Friday Night Programs. From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a wily fox who makes her job even harder.

Play a casual game of bags or spikeball; then eat some delicious walking tacos and relax.

1 - 4 p.m. Explore Downtown Naperville

Jefferson Plaza/Downtown Naperville

Visit the downtown Naperville shops and restaurants to get stamps on your passport. The more stamps you get, the better your chances of winning a downtown Naperville gift card. Pickup and return passports to the Block Party when you're finished.

1 - 11 p.m. (Shuttle leaves every hour on the hour) Afternoon shuttle service to Target, Westfield Fox Valley Mall, Jewel, All Saints Catholic Academy (Remote Parking Lot) and more
