Each college or university receiving Federal financial assistance must designate at least one professional employee as the Title IX Coordinator to oversee compliance efforts and investigate any complaint of sex discrimination.
At North Central, the Title IX Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the overall implementation of Title IX for the College. Major duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring the following areas:
- Admissions and Recruitment
- Educational Programs and Activities
- Comparable facilities
- Participation in curricular and extra-curricular activities
- Financial assistance
- Student employment assistance
- Health services and student insurance

The Coordinator assists individuals alleging sexual harassment or discrimination in filing their grievance(s). The Coordinator also works in conjunction with other College officials through a vibrant Title IX Committee focused on prevention and policy development.
