Course Description

Ceramics Camp

Learn the fundamentals of hand-building sculptures with clay. Pinch, coil and slab construction will be utilized while emphasizing the sculptural process, techniques, and the basics of 3D design. The daily format will consist of demonstrations, slide lectures and studio work time. Participants will leave the workshop with a fired sculpture or two to paint at home. ***Returning the next week to pick up fired results is necessary.
