A May 20 performance by the alternative rock band Switchfoot will be the first concert in North Central College’s Residence Hall/Recreation Center. The band Bottle of Justus will open.

On April 20, WFMT-FM 98.7 will broadcast a concert by violinist Rachel Barton Pine recorded last year in Wentz Concert Hall.

On April 20, 98.7WFMT—Chicago’s classical and fine arts radio station—will broadcast a concert by renowned violinist Rachel Barton Pine recorded last year in North Central College’s acoustically stunning Wentz Concert Hall.

The concert will be broadcast at 8 p.m. Friday, April 20 and may be heard on the radio in the Chicago area at WFMT-FM 98.7 or online anywhere at wfmt.com/streaming.

Titled “Nuances of Texture,” the free exhibit will be on display in North Central College’s Oesterle Library Gallery, 320 E. School St. The artists will greet visitors during an opening reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 9. Complimentary refreshments will be served. The exhibit opened Feb. 24.
