The Japan Club, International Club, and Offices of International Programs, Ministry and Service and Residence Life are coordinating College-wide relief efforts for the people of Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami March 11. To start, students will accept donations to the American Red Cross during weeks three, five, seven and nine, from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the lobby of WAC and from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in Kaufman Dining Hall.

Guitar enthusiasts of all kinds will want to see and hear classical guitarist Jason Vieaux Friday, Feb. 18. Touted as one of “the leading guitarists of his generation” by Absolute Sound magazine and one of the “stars of the guitar world” by the New York Times, he will perform at 8 p.m. in Wentz Concert Hall.

Through Feb. 25, students can win prizes for earning an “A” grade. Simply present your own quiz, test, paper or assignment that received an A grade to the Office of Residence Life in the Blue House, WAC front desk or to your area hall director to enter a raffle. Prizes include a gift card for a Kindle, a $100 gift card to North Central’s Bookstore and 10 $10 gift cards redeemable in stores and restaurants in downtown Naperville. There will be 12 winners and you can enter as often as you earn an A grade.
