College Honors and Entrepreneurship programs move to Rall House

Two academic programs and their faculty and staff have new office locations at the Edward Everett Rall House, 329 S. Brainard St., starting winter term.

The College Honors Programs, formerly the Office of Academic Opportunities and housed in Kiekhofer Hall, and the Entrepreneurship Program, formerly in the 119 S. Loomis House, are located on the second floor of the Rall House. The first floor features all-college meeting and conference rooms, which can be reserved through the College’s web calendar early winter term.

Perry Hamalis, assistant professor of religious studies and director of the Office of Academic Opportunities, is among eight speakers who will deliver short meditations to be broadcast live March 31 on WFMT-FM 98.7 during a performance of Haydn’s “The Seven Last Words of Christ.” The performance of Franz Joseph Haydn’s composition will be broadcast at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, from St. James Cathedral in Chicago. A pre-concert lecture begins at 7 p.m.

A record 32 students from North Central were chosen to participate at the 24th National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) April 15-17 at the University of Montana.
