Renard Jackson and Jack Shindler give talks at symposium

Renard Jackson (photo), assistant professor of education, and Jack Shindler, professor of English and director of international programs, participated in the Scholarship of Pedagogy Symposium sponsored by the Associated Colleges of the Chicago Area (ACCA). Hosted by Dominican University on Oct. 30, the conference was titled Connecting the Dots: Helping Students Integrate Learning Across Contexts.

Shindler and Larsson give presentations at international conference

Jack Shindler, professor of English and director of international programs, and Kimberly Larsson, assistant to the director of international programs, gave presentations at the Association of International Educators (NAFSA) Conference June 1-4, in Kansas City, Mo. Some 7,000 educators attended worldwide. Shindler was chosen from among 11 other presenters nationwide to give his session at the international conference.
