An Extraordinary Saturday

It was just a game. Two football teams, perhaps the two best in the nation in Division III. And we didn't win.

And yet, as I joined players and coaches, family and friends on the field after the game, all I could see, everywhere I looked, were winners. Twelve and 0 until this day, the best record and the best football team in North Central history. And leading the defending national champions going into the final quarter.

North Central participates in NAC&U’s 2010 Summer Institute

In June 2010, a team of North Central College faculty and administrators joined colleagues from 20 colleges and universities at the 14th annual Summer Institute of the New American Colleges & Universities (NAC&U), the consortium of independent and small to mid-sized institutions, of which North Central is a founding member.

Chinese TV visits North Central as part of broadcast in China

Members of the Central Chinese Television (CCTV) Operas Channel in Beijing were on campus Jan. 11 to meet with and videotape an interview with President Hal Wilde and a classroom in intermediate Chinese taught by Annie Liu, adjunct instructor of Chinese. CCTV plans to use the footage in a program that will air throughout China during the Chinese New Year’s festivities in February.
