North Central College will be represented by three football players and two coaches at the 2009 Tazon de Estrellas All-Star Game on Saturday, Dec. 19, in Monterrey, Mexico. Quarterback Aaron Fanthorpe ’10, offensive tackle Josh Delancy ’10 and defensive end Tim Janecek ’10 will each participate for Team Stars & Stripes in the game.

In men’s cross country, all seven varsity runners finished among the top 10 as the team dominated the 35-team field at the UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational Oct. 17. The victory was the Cardinals' sixth invitational win, as the top varsity squad has yet to be defeated this season. More The football team continued its prolific scoring output on Oct. 17 in a 63-48 victory over Carthage College.

North Central's football team escalated its offensive wizardry to a new level Oct. 10 against North Park University, covering nearly 600 yards in an 83-7 smash of the Vikings at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. In an effort to save some trees and dollars, the athletics department and sports information have teamed up to convert their print media guides to online publications. The 2009 Football Media Guide is the first to go online and can be viewed at www.sidearmdmg.com/ncentral/football. The other fall sports guides will be live soon.
