Each fall, through the coordinated efforts of the College’s Crisis Task Force, Campus Safety, Building Drill Leaders and Naperville Fire Department, North Central College conducts academic building fire drills. This is an ongoing safety best practice.

Between 2 and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, there will be fire drills in campus academic buildings. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to look at the emergency information cards posted in all offices and classrooms as a reminder of what to do in the event of an emergency. The anticipated schedule is listed below.

On Jan. 12, the College’s Crisis Task Force used the emergency text message alert system to inform subscribers of the decision to remain open during the snow event. This is a friendly reminder that you can sign up to receive emergency text messages via your Merlin account or, if you are already a subscriber, you can update your contact and mobile carrier information via Merlin. If you did not receive the message but believe you are a subscriber, please take a moment to verify your information in Merlin.
