North Central College features three musical performances this weekend as part of its fine and performing arts season—two on Friday, Nov. 2, and one Sunday, Nov. 4—with special offers to faculty, staff and students on two shows.

As part of the MLK Week celebration, the College’s box office is offering students a special pizza dinner and concert package for $15 to experience a rousing musical tribute to Martin Luther King on Jan. 15 by the Chicago Sinfonietta. Visit the box office in Wentz Concert Hall to purchase your tickets. The pizza dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the Wentz Green Room at the Fine Arts Center and the concert will start at 8 p.m.
Just in: Tickets for faculty and staff to the Saturday, Jan. 16, performance of Chicago Sinfonietta are free. This 8 p.m. concert in Wentz Concert Hall will mark the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an unforgettable performance of “The Dream Lives On: Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.” The Chicago Sinfonietta is the nation’s most diverse symphony and will conclude the concert with audience participation of the spiritual “We Shall Overcome.” Faculty and staff still need to reserve a seat; call the box office at 630-637-SHOW (7469).
