John Madormo, assistant professor of broadcast communication and general manager of WONC-FM 89.1, was awarded a two-book publishing contract with Penguin Books for Young Readers for a pair of middle-grade novels titled
Casey Collier, Snoop for Hire. The first book will debut in summer 2011 as a Philomel hardcover, followed by a Puffin paperback a few months later. Book two will hit the shelves in summer 2012.
