A picture taken at North Central College's Benedetti-Wehril Stadium has won a national photography contest and will be displayed in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, The Naperville Sun reports. The photo was taken during the annual Crosstown Classic game between Naperville North and Naperville Central high schools.

Robert Harman '59 still remembers the distrustful looks he and other clergymen received as they traveled from Illinois to Selma, Ala., in 1965 to support civil rights leaders. He still remembers the freedom songs and the words of the preachers that inspired civil rights activists to march to Montgomery with the Rev.

Sunday's Daily Herald features nice coverage of Saturday's dance auditions for the new community musical "Lunacy," which North Central's Office of Community Development will stage in May.

"Lunacy" was created by writer (and North Central alum) Matt Boresi and composer Jonathon Lynch, son of Fine Arts Director Brian Lynch and professor of psychology Mary Jean Lynch.

The report was about time zones, and how 12 different railroads convened in Chicago in 1883 and established the time zones we know today. Prior to that, each town set its own time, incredible as it sounds.
