The College hosts an exhibit by photographer Michael Wolf in the Schoenherr Art Gallery at the Fine Arts Center through Oct. 2. His photographs of Chicago’s central downtown area focus on issues of voyeurism and the contemporary urban landscape in flux. The exhibit is free and open to the public and is made possible through a partnership between U.S. Equities and Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Photography.

[caption id="attachment_169" align="alignleft" width="160" caption="1985, Seager Hall"][/caption] On display in the lobby of Oesterle Library is the fall Archives exhibit, featuring the variety of buildings dedicated to student housing, from Old Main’s tower to the new Residence Hall/Recreation Center (Res/Rec Center). In 1870 when the College moved to Naperville, students lived in Old Main.

New tenure-track faculty

New tenure-track faculty

North Central College appointed three new full-time, tenure-track faculty for the 2009-2010 academic year. They are: •    Alberto Fonseca, assistant professor of Spanish. Previously a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Kansas and at Virginia Tech, Fonseca specializes in 19th and 20th century Latin American literature and instruction in Spanish at all levels. He holds a B. A. in literature from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, an M.A. in history from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D.
