Community members are invited to North Central College on Sunday, Sept. 11, for a 9/11 remembrance ceremony.

Naperville’s “9/11 Community Event: Remember, Release, Renew” invites people to come together to remember and honor those lost on 9/11/2001, to continue to release the pain and hurt, and to renew personal and community commitment to treat each other with respect, regardless of race, sex or religion—to build a “community of compassion.”

Building Communities Near and Far

Preparing involved, principled students remains at the foundation of academics and student life at North Central College. Dozens of organizations and programs engage students on campus and complement their academic journeys—with everything from pottery and square dance clubs to a roller hockey team to long established activities like student government and the North Central Chronicle.

A Community of Learners

Every spring, the North Central College community celebrates the achievements of outstanding students in academics, co-curricular activities and athletics. Their accomplishments impress even the most veteran of faculty and staff, who have devoted their careers to student learning, critical inquiry and leadership development.
