The exhibit is free and open to the public in the College’s Schoenherr Gallery at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville. An artist reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1; complimentary refreshments will be served.

Her free exhibit will present a variety of oil paintings June 27-Aug. 17 in the College’s Schoenherr Gallery at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave. The public is invited to meet the artist during a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 29, in the gallery. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Works by talented artists of The Awakenings Project will be showcased at North Central College April 25-June 22 as part of Mental Health Awareness Month.

North Central College will showcase works by members of The Awakenings Project April 25-June 22.

Begun in 1997, The Awakenings Project is a group of talented artists in DuPage County and surrounding areas, all of whom have a psychiatric illness. Shown art represents the broad range of work these artists create, from casual paintings, sculptures and photographs by amateurs to seasoned works by professional artists.
