Karl Kelley, North Central College professor of psychology, has chapter published in 6th edition of “A Counselor’s Guide to Career Assessment Instruments.”

Karl Kelley, North Central College professor of psychology and director of FYE, wrote a chapter titled “Differential Aptitude Testing,” which has been published in the 6th edition of “A Counselor’s Guide to Career Assessment Instruments” (2013) by editors Chris Wood and Danica G. Hays. Kelley also was a contributor in the 5th edition.

Diane Anstine named first holder of economics endowed chair

Diane Anstine, associate professor and chair of economics, was named the first holder of the Mary Schneller Rosar Professor of Economics endowed chair.

June 24, 2011—North Central College recently announced that Diane Anstine, associate professor and chair of economics, was named the first holder of the Mary Schneller Rosar Professor of Economics endowed chair.

The new endowed chair was made possible by the generosity of alumnae Mary Schneller Rosar, Class of 1933, and her sister Cecelia Schneller Mueller, Class of 1927.

Kate Smith ’05 Pereda loves to teach science to her fifth-grade pupils in Addison, IL. During the one semester each year that she can even fit the topic into the schedule, she’s armed and ready to engage her students—several of whom want to pursue science in their futures—with valuable lessons and methods learned at North Central College.
