Walk, remember, raise funds at Relay for Life

North Central College invites members of the community to join Relay for Life, an American Cancer Society fundraising event hosted by the College April 27-28.

For the ninth year, North Central will host Relay for Life, an American Cancer Society event that gives people in communities a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and raise funds to fight the disease.

Wrestlers Plan to Take Down Cancer

Cancer needs to watch its back this winter because the North Central College wrestling team is planning a takedown.

For the past four years, the wrestling team has been involved with the College’s annual Relay for Life event each April. Relay for Life is an all night relay walk or run that raises money for the American Cancer Society (ACS). Many communities and schools participate in Relay for Life, honoring those that have lost their battle to the disease as well as those still fighting.
