Randy Anderson '91

Randy Anderson is Americas Head of Research for CBRE Group, Inc. Dr. Anderson has served as principal of Bluerock Real Estate LLC, as a professor at the University of Central Florida and as chief economist at CNL Financial Group and Marcus & Millichap. He has earned a Counselors of Real Estate designation and been named a Distinguished Fellow at the NAIOP Research Foundation and a Fellow at the Homer Hoyt Institute.

Bryan Shell '03

Bryan Shell was recognized by his peers for the second year in a row as a Rising Star attorney by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine. He is an associate with Block, Klukas & Manzella in Joliet, IL, and focuses on workers compensation and personal injury cases in Cook, DuPage, Grundy, LaSalle and Will counties. Shell is a certified mediation specialist who has been published in several mediation journals and has earned his mediation certification at Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN.

Ann Grenevitch M ’12

Ann Grenevitch M ’12 opened her own business, Ruth Ann’s Sweets, in Huntley, IL. “I knew I wanted to have my own business,” she said. “It was just something I could be very passionate about. Everybody has a passion, and they have to figure out what it is.” Grenevitch was a professor of marketing at Kendall College in Chicago and also taught various baking classes around the suburbs.

Robert Ropars '92

Robert Ropars self-published “The Pleasure of Fiends: Five Tales of the Vampire” via Amazon's eBook and paperback services. It features five stand-alone vampire stories for fans of more classic horror.

Brian Waterman M ’04

Brian Waterman M ’04 was named principal of Lyons Township High School in La Grange, IL, for the 2014-2015 school year. He began his education career in 1999 as a business education teacher at Westmont High School in Westmont, IL, before becoming assistant principal there in 2003. Waterman held the same position at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream, IL, before taking over as principal at Hinsdale South in Darien, IL.

Marty Rossman M ’12

Marty Rossman M ’12 is now dean of financial aid at North Central. He will provide leadership and further develop structures and programs for the Office of Financial Aid. Rossman will also collaborate on the development of financial aid policy decisions, student aid expenditures and the strategic use of all aid sources.

Brad Troeger '92

Brad Troeger was featured in Lead IT Magazine for his implementation of the flipped classroom model in his health and physical education classes.  He has one of his lessons published on TED-Ed and he has also been interviewed and included in a digital book titled “101 Flippin’ Teachers.”  His lessons have been used across the globe and are helping to carve a new outlook on technology in the classroom. Troeger is a health and physical education teacher at Craig High School in Janesville, WI.  His wife Tami is a dental assistant at Behm Dental in Janesville.

Scott Drucker and RJ McNichols ’05

Scott Drucker and RJ McNichols presented “Breaking Into the Film Biz,” in the Harold and Eva White Activities Center on campus. Their talk and Q&A was directed toward young filmmakers, students of interactive media and fans of contemporary documentary film with a community and social conscience.

Garrett Lutz ’12

Garrett Lutz was cast for the role of Dimas in Triumph of Love through The Music Theatre Company. He was last seen in The Wedding Singer at Haven Theatre and Collaboraction's 13th Annual Sketchbook Festival in Shuffle Off. Lutz was also a part of the American Theater Company's HAIR.

Katy Crossley Frolick '92

Katy Crossley Frolick was awarded tenure and promoted to associate professor of political science at Denison University in Granville, OH.
