Kyle Brady ’10 enjoyed a senior year that other student-athletes can only dream about. Brady achieved a rare triple crown in national collegiate distance running events, becoming the first Division III athlete and just the 12th in collegiate history to achieve All-America status on national championship teams in all three sports in the same academic year. He first contributed to a team championship with a 21st-place finish at the NCAA Division III National Championships in cross country.

June 3, 2010—North Central College student-athletes are celebrating a rare “triple crown” of national championships.

The Cardinals completed their sweep of national titles on May 29 by winning the 2010 NCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track and Field National Championship in Berea, Ohio, becoming just the second team in Division III history to sweep the national cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field championships in one academic year.
