Four North Central faculty from diverse academic areas discuss effects of globalization

North Central College faculty tackle the “complex, dynamic, ambiguous” topic of globalization and how it has impacted their academic disciplines.

Globalization is “complex, ambiguous, dynamic, gray, complicated, divisive, exciting,” explained North Central College faculty at a recent panel discussion.  

It’s a new world, they said, as they shared how globalization has impacted their different academic disciplines and how they teach.

Alum credits many successes to a liberal arts education

 

 

The interests and multi-faceted career of Gene Arnould ’69 reflect the foundation of a liberal arts education at its best. A resident of Marblehead, MA, one of the East Coast’s most picturesque coastal communities, Arnould owns an art gallery, organizes the annual Marblehead Summer Jazz concert series and enjoys delving into the Colonial history of his hometown.
