Amy Frazzini earns Outstanding Major in Exercise Science Award

Amy Frazzini was honored with the Outstanding Major in Exercise Science Award during Honors Day May 17 at North Central College.

Frazzini earned the award during her junior year. After completing her degree at North Central in 2012 she plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist.

North Central College's exercise science program earns national recognition

North Central College’s exercise science program receives recognition by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

North Central College’s exercise science program was recently recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and received acceptance to the association’s Education Recognition Program (ERP). The ERP recognizes colleges and universities that offer at least a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in strength and conditioning or related field.

Kendall Selsky, North Central College visiting assistant professor of health and physical education, spoke at clinic about injury prevention techniques.

Kendall Selsky ’93, North Central College visiting assistant professor of health and physical education and exercise science program director, spoke at a continuing education session at the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Illinois State Personal Trainer Clinic held in Chicago Nov. 5. The topic she presented was titled “ACL Injury Prevention Techniques/Programs for Strength & Conditioning Professionals.”
