Junior heads to Uganda during spring break to research crisis journalism

March 16, 2010--North Central College offers its students a variety of service, cultural and academic experiences during its spring break in March. Ryan Piers, a junior from Washington, Ill., chose to travel Uganda, Africa, to conduct research for a project related to his major in broadcast communication and minor in journalism.

Senior presents academic work at international convention

March 16, 2010--During North Central College's spring break, senior Sarah Kurpiel will head a few hours south of her Naperville campus and Downers Grove residence, but not for fun in the sun. She will be presenting her academic work at an international convention in St. Louis.
