Danielle Izac accepted a resident director position with Semester at Sea for the 2014 fall voyage. Semester at Sea is a study abroad experience sponsored by the University of Virginia. Students representing 250-300 universities and colleges circumnavigate the world, providing an interactive global exploration that complements their academic courses.

Eric Brechtel completed his first year at Montini Catholic High School as an admission representative. He is also the head coach of boys track and field and assistant cross country coach. He may be reached at ebrechtel@sbcglobal.net.

Aaron Buss earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Iowa and was hired as an assistant professor in the department of psychology at the University of Tennessee.

Michael Sundblad '03

Michael Sundblad is pursuing a doctor of musical arts at Boston University. He’s also chair of the department of music and performing arts at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, VA.

Kristie Cotter '03

Kristie Cotter is a director at Samet & Company, PC. She was honored by the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) in the 2013 Women to Watch award program. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Boston and sits on the board of Inner Explorer. 

Jackie Mitchell Nelson '99

Jackie Mitchell Nelson was a guest speaker at North Central College’s College Scholars Cording Event June 13 as part of Commencement activities. While a student, Nelson was a College Scholar and majored in English writing and independent studies. Today, she holds a dual role for the American Red Cross, serving as director of celebrity and entertainment outreach and as interim vice president of humanitarian services marketing. She also serves with volunteers who deploy into disasters and acts as a spokesperson with national media.

Brad Weiss was featured in “Keith's Radio Station: Broadcast, Internet, and Satellite” Ninth Edition by John Allen Hendricks and Bruce Mims. Brad is director of branding/sports programming for Entercom-Memphis/92.9 FM ESPN and lives in Germantown, TN with his wife Stacy and son Jake.

Sharon Merrill is assistant director of human resources at North Central College.
