Josh Bailey '11

Josh Bailey is now North Central College’s periodicals and electronic resources assistant. He spent three years serving as a library services student assistant and is an assistant Mock Trial coach at North Central. In his free time he is involved in World Relief DuPage, which helps refugees and immigrants living in DuPage and Kane counties, and the DuPage PADS, assisting those who are homeless in DuPage county. Bailey recently married his high school sweetheart Ali Ledbetter ’12 and resides in Oak Park, IL.

Catherine Hill '04

Catherine Hill is an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Southern California (USC). She started at USC in 2007 after earning her master’s degree in kinesiology and health promotion at the University of Kentucky. While at Kentucky, Hill handled the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams. After graduating from North Central she worked as an intern at Northwestern University with the men’s soccer and women’s lacrosse programs. She resides in Manhattan Beach, CA.

Justin Lynch '11

Justin Lynch is a faculty service representative in the department of chemistry at the University of Chicago, where he helps faculty, post-doctoral students and researchers submit a variety of grant proposals. Lynch resides in Elgin, IL, and may be reached at jrl8883@yahoo.com.

Kevin A. Brown '86

Kevin A. Brown received a Pacesetter Award as the lead of a project with five other co-workers at Argonne National Laboratory. He has been a coordinating writer and editor and has served the laboratory since 1989. He resides in Plainfield, IL, with his wife Michele T. Murray ’86/M ’95 and their two daughters.

Blake Coffin earned an M.B.A. from the University of California-Riverside in June 2012. He is a financial analyst for Ross Stores, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA, and may be reached at bcoff001@ucr.edu.

Tommy Rivera-Vega '11

Tommy Rivera-Vega debuted in the Steppenwolf Theatre production “Three Sisters,” a Russian comedy-drama. He was honored to receive the opportunity to learn from Steppenwolf’s Tony Award-winning director Anna D. Shapiro and seasoned Chicago actors Ora Jones and Alana Areas. “Three Sisters” ran through August 26.

Steve Joslyn '86

Steve Joslyn was named head baseball coach at Chicago State University after spending the last 10 years as an assistant at Northern Illinois University under Ed Mathey ‘86. As NIU’s main assistant, Joslyn earned the title of associate head coach in 2008. His efforts at NIU helped the Huskies bring in three nationally ranked recruiting classes to DeKalb. Overall, Joslyn helped the Huskies to 255 victories and five Mid-American Conference Tournament appearances. Nearly every graduating outfielder tutored by Joslyn at Northern Illinois has signed a professional baseball contract.

Zach DeWitz '05

Zach DeWitz was promoted from middays to mornings at WSSR-FM/Star 96.7 in Crest Hill, IL, where he broadcasts under the pseudonym Josh Cooper. His new morning program, titled “Cooper in the Morning Show,” continues to be a music-based morning program but is more interactive and locally focused. He has been with WSSR-FM since April 2006 working the midday shift and doing morning news and traffic reports. Joining Cooper is a new addition to the radio station, Bolingbrook native Anna Kopsky ’14. She is heard weekdays delivering news and traffic reports.

Andrew Sauer '11

Andrew Sauer was named the assistant sports information director at North Central College. He has been in charge of maintaining North Central’s baseball complex for summer tournaments and camps and interned in the College’s athletic department for two years. Most recently he was a graduate assistant in the Office of Sports Information.
