Derek Sulo is strength and conditioning coach for the College of DuPage Chaparrals. Sulo was an intern at Northwestern University while earning his master’s degree in sports administration there.

Joe Norton '10

Joe Norton is full-time head coach for the Knox College wrestling program, located in Galesburg, IL. He served as a graduate assistant for the wrestling program at North Central College. As a student-athlete at North Central, he had 94 career victories on the mat and was a four-time NCAA regional place winner. He was ranked as high as ninth as an individual and was recipient of the Hammer Award in recognition of outstanding commitment and work ethic in NCAA Division III.

Mike Krieglstein '10

Mike Krieglstein is production manager for The Giving Tree Band from Yorkville, IL. The band has received international recognition and plans to tour as far as Australia, with other international dates to follow.

Kelly Carew Kirchner '10

Kelly Carew Kirchner is an admission counselor for Roosevelt University at the Schaumburg, IL, campus. She received a degree in organizational communication from North Central and a master’s in college student personnel from Western Illinois University in Macomb.

Sean Harrington '10

Sean Harrington, a Ph.D. student at San Diego State University/University of California Riverside, published his thesis transcript, titled “Ossification Sequence Heterochrony Among Amphibians,” in the September/October 2013 edition of Evolution and Development. Heterochrony is an important mechanism in the evolution of amphibians. Harrington earned a master of science degree in biology from John Carroll University, University Heights, OH, where he worked closely with Carl D. Anthony ’87, associate professor of biology.

Sandra Pieta M ’11

Sandra Pieta M ’11 is director of institutional research at Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. She earned an M.B.A from North Central and an M.A. in economics from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 2013.

Shannon Juenger '09

Lindsay Jubeck '09

Lindsay Jubeck went to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to complete TEFL (Teaching English as a First Language) certification before arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where she is teaching English for the year. Previously, she embarked on a 13-month trip through Latin America––starting in Peru and traveling through Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. Joseph Gaza M ’12

Joseph Gaza M ’12 is director of baseball operations at The Warner Companies baseball agency. Previous to this position, he started his own baseball agency called AllStarInc Baseball. Gaza grew the firm and it merged with The Warner Companies baseball agency. He is certified by the Major League Baseball Players Association as a player agent. Gaza’s duties as a baseball agent include draft advisement, contract negotiations, arbitration representation, marketing and public relations services, sponsorship and endorsement negotiation.
