Brian Failing earns Outstanding Human Thought & Behavior Division Award

Brian Failing was awarded the Outstanding Human Thought and Behavior Award during North Central College’s 2014 Honors Convocation.

Brian Failing, son of Michael and Christine Failing of Lisle, was awarded the Outstanding Human Thought and Behavior Award during Honors Convocation May 13 at North Central College in Naperville.

A senior, Brian is double majoring in history and urban and suburban studies at North Central College. He is a graduate of Naperville North High School.

The voices of Steve Macek, North Central College associate professor of speech communication and coordinator of urban and suburban studies, and Brian Failing ’14, majoring in history and urban and suburban studies, have been heard recently on two radio programs.

They were featured guests as cocurators of their exhibit, “Banned in Chicago: Eight Decades of Film Censorship in the Windy City,” on display through Aug. 16 at the Museums at Lisle Station Park in Lisle.
